The Curiosity Machine picks one new "why" question every day from a bank of curated facts — spanning space, the human body, animals, chemistry, weather and more. Reveal the answer and three related questions appear beneath it, chosen because they share a topic with what you just read.
Click any related question and it becomes the new question — its own answer and its own three follow-ups appear in turn. The breadcrumb trail above tracks the exact path you've branched through, and you can jump back to any earlier step at any time. Because every question can lead to several others, the tree of questions you can explore has no fixed end.
Use "🎲 Random" to jump anywhere in the bank and start a fresh branch, or "🏠 Today" to return to the day's featured question. Your explored-question count is saved locally in your browser, so it's yours alone — nothing is sent to a server.
